For nearly 30 years now, I have been working in the construction industry, in the 1980s, a worked for three of the largest building companies in the UK working on designs for the UK and overseas. In the 1990s, I worked for some of the countries largest consultancies, working on shopping centers, corporate office buildings, military installations and major road schemes.

In the new millennium, I spent a prolonged period working for a major broadcaster working in the back ground first as an electrical designer, followed by a project manager and account manger and ended working for the estates department working with the maintenance provider both managing people and forecasting long term capital spend.

I have considerable experience in diagnosing discrimination problems between fuses including nuisance tripping. I  can diagnose and advice on complex problems with harmonic distortion and recommend remedial actions to overcome overheating cables and circuit faults.

 

I can of course undertake lighting designs for almost any requirement having worked on lighting designs using software and hand calculations since the early 1980s.
